Dotonbori district is the most famous tourist attraction in Osaka.
The name corresponds to both the canal and the parallel to the canal’s bank homonymous street.
Its history starts in 1612 with the construction of the canal, completed in 1615.
Kuidaore is Osaka’s food culture, loosely interpreted as eating till you drop.
Kuidaore actually means, spend so much on food, until you run out of money!
Don’t just explore the canal, the narrow alleys hide tens of small restaurants.
Foods to try include okonomiyaki and takoyaki.
