We start from
Egnatia street, in the northern part of Aristotelous square.
Here are the
traditional Xmas houses, a carousel, and an ice rig.
You can then
move along the square further down to Tsimiski street,
where there is
a series of decorated Xmas trees.
From the lower
part of Aristotelous square to the waterfront,
you will find
the main Christmas tree.
The pedestrian
zone of Agias Sofias features an illuminated festive curtain of lights.
This year, Tsimiski
street has some new aerial lights all along.
In line with
power saving measures, most lights will go off at one past midnight.
