Holy Apostles is a Byzantine architecture 14th century church at the central square of Leontari village.

 

The distance is 196 Km from Athens via Olimpia Odos (includes tolls).

 

It combines two architectural types:

 

Three-aisled basilica on the ground floor, and

cross-vaulted church on the upper floor.

 

Wall frescoes of the Palaeologan art are sadly partly covered by plaster.
