For this

It takes
just 2h 10 min by car.

crosses a country border after Arlon.
Schengen Convention allows you to move freely among these European
states.
Although border checks have been removed,
you may still need a passport or other ID to maintain your right to
travel freely.
There is
usually a train running every hour, from early in the morning until midnight.
Even if you
pay in advance, your train ticket has no seat reservation.
